BIOGRAPHY

Luny Tunes

Born in the Dominican Republic, Francisco Saldaña, in 1979, and Victor Cabrera, in 1981, met in Boston, Massachusetts, during their teen years and pursued their shared interest in music production.

They caught the attention of pioneer reggaetón producer DJ Nelson, who signed them to his Flow Music label in Puerto Rico to produce a mix tape release featuring some of reggaetón’s emerging stars, including Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Tego Calderón, Wisin & Yandel, Hector & Tito, Zion & Lennox, Baby Ranks, Nicky Jam, and Trebol Clan.

The 2003 CD mixtape, Mas Flow, established the pair, now known by their professional name, Luny Tunes, as the pre-eminent producers of reggaetón when they were still in their early 20's.
