The Cha Cha Cha
Cha cha cha, [makes rhythm noise] with the güiro, you know, and the timbales. The son don’t have no güiro or timbales, the son was clave, maracas, bongos and bass and guitar and the tres, that was it. And then the cha cha cha was the style created by Enrique Jorrin, a guy who played the violin and he put three violins in the orchestra, a flute, wooden, wood flute, timbales, congas, bass and piano. The son don’t have any piano either, you know piano was later on, the cha cha cha was later on.
